Where your trips are, and what each label means

Your stays live under Trips in your Kabora account. One list holds both the stays you booked yourself and the stays you joined as somebody else's travel companion.

The order

Everything that wasn't called off sits in one list — what is coming first, soonest at the top, then finished stays below it, most recent first. Three show at once, and View more opens the rest and counts them on the button.

It loads a hundred at a time. Once you have pressed View more, Load older trips at the bottom brings the next ones, so nothing is out of reach.

Anything that ended without a stay — cancelled, declined, expired, withdrawn, or a no-show — leaves the list. A Cancelled reservations button sits underneath instead, and opens them in a panel of their own.

In the Kabora app, Trips is split into Upcoming and Past trips, five at a time, with View more and Cancelled reservations below.

What the label on a card means

• Waiting on host — you asked, and the host hasn't answered.
• Payment due — nobody is waiting on the host; the money hasn't landed.
• Upcoming — check-in is still ahead. That is all it means, so open the trip before you count on it: a card also reads Upcoming for a stay that is only an offer the host pre-approved, and for one that is waiting on your ID.
• Currently staying — the stay has started, and it says this right through your checkout day. Your host sees the same nights as Currently hosting.
• Past stay — the dates have passed. The card goes by dates and nothing else, so open the trip for what actually happened.

Opening one

Tap a card and the trip opens in a panel over the list; on a phone-sized screen it takes the whole width. Inside are your confirmation code, the dates — with check-in and checkout times where the host has set them — who is coming, and what you paid and what came back.

The cancellation terms are there too. Where your booking froze a set, you get those, exactly as you agreed them; a host editing their policy afterwards cannot rewrite them. Where it didn't, you get the terms the listing carries now, which the host may have changed since. Where there are none at all, the panel says plainly that no terms were recorded and to message your host.

Where your trip has them, there are rows through to your host, to your arrival details and guidebook, and to the listing. Each appears only when it applies — the listing row is there while the place is still listed, and gone when it is not.

Stays you booked somewhere else

Kabora is not connected to Airbnb, Vrbo or Booking.com. A stay you booked on one of those sites stays with them, and that is where you read it, change it, cancel it and pay for it.
