Logging out

Log out in the account menu ends the session for the browser you are using and nothing else. Other computers and phones stay signed in. It asks before it does it, and your trips and saved places stay where they are either way.

How long a sign-in lasts

A sign-in on the website lasts 30 days from your last visit — each visit sets it forward. In the Kabora app it is 90 days.

Every device you are signed in on

Account settings → Sign-in & security → Active sessions lists every device signed in to your account — the browser, when it signed in, when it was last active — with End session beside each one and End all other sessions above the list. Ending one signs that device out at once; this one too, if you choose it. (Until 2026-09-17 this list was the host's only; it is every account's now.)

The Kabora app has the same list under Sign-in & security → Where you're signed in, with Sign out beside each device. The app is in TestFlight and not yet on the App Store — the store badges in the footer say *Coming soon*.

Signing out everywhere at once

End all other sessions, above the list. Two older ways still work:

• If your account still carries a Kabora password, change it under Account → Edit → Password. You need the current one. Changing it ends every other session and keeps you signed in where you are.
• Left alone, every other session runs out 30 days after it was last used. If you think somebody else is in, open a case at Help → Contact support and say what happened.

The "new sign-in" email

Login alerts, on the same page, is on for every account: an email whenever your account signs in from a device it has not used before, to your address and any extra addresses you add — and a text too, if you save a mobile number and turn Text message on. If one ever surprises you, end that session from the list and change how you sign in.

Push

A login alert does not come by push yet — the switch on the page says so. The Kabora phone app does receive push notifications for what you choose under Notifications; the website itself never buzzes, it emails. So do not wait to be warned — if you think somebody else is in your account, end the other sessions, change how you sign in, and open a case.
