Getting started
Beds and sleeping arrangements
"Sleeps eight" can mean four bedrooms or one bedroom and four bunks, and the gap between those two is the commonest cause of a bad review on arrival. So beds are recorded room by room.
Rooms are set in the Kabora app: a listing → Sleeping arrangements.
Rooms
Each room is a bedroom, a shared space, or an other space. The distinction matters: a bed in a shared space is a bed some guests will not want, and a listing that counts it silently earns the review it gets. A room can also be marked Private bathroom.
Bed types
King, queen, double, small double, single, sofa bed, couch, bunk bed, air mattress, floor mattress, water bed, toddler bed, crib, and hammock.
Two counts, not one
Beds counts pieces of furniture, and leaves cribs out: a listing that says five because one of them is a baby's cot will disappoint five adults.
Sleeps counts capacity, and a bunk counts as two — because a bunk is one piece of furniture and two places to sleep, and counting furniture undercounts the room.
What guests see
Each room the host has described is a card under Where you'll sleep on the listing, with its beds and any photos filed under it.
