Add your first property

Head to Listings and choose Add a listing. Kabora asks one thing a screen, in three steps, the same steps the Kabora app takes:

1. Tell us about your place. The address, what kind of place it is, whether guests have the whole place or a room, where the pin goes (drag the map until it sits on the house), and how many guests, bedrooms, beds and bathrooms. 2. Make your place stand out. The amenities, at least five photos from your computer (the first is the cover), a title, and a description, which starts from the two highlights you pick. 3. Finish up and publish. How guests book, the nightly price and any weekend adjustment, discounts, and whether there are cameras outside.

Where the pin goes matters: Create listing refuses a pin more than 250 metres from the address, so drag it onto the house itself.

Every answer is kept as you go, in this browser, so Save & exit is safe: come back and the flow opens on the screen you left. Create listing makes the listing and puts it live when it can. If something is still missing — connecting payouts or a profile photo are the usual ones — it says what, and the listing waits as a draft with every other answer in it.

Listed somewhere already

On the first screen, open Listed somewhere already? Paste the listing, paste the text of the listing from the other site, and choose Fill in what it says. Kabora fills in what it can read, and you check each answer on its own screen. See "Import a property from an existing listing".

If you have several to add

Adding them one at a time is nobody's idea of a good evening. Two shortcuts:

• Listings → Add several at once. Paste all your listings in one go and get a property for each. See "Add several properties in one paste".
• Settings → Import. If you use Hospitable, connect it and your listings come across as drafts, without any pasting. See "Bring a portfolio over from Hospitable".

What matters most

• Photos sell the stay. The first one is the hero photo you'll see everywhere in the app; you can reorder and add more on the listing's Photos page.
• The public name is what guests see. The internal name (a nickname like "Unit 4B") is only ever shown to you and your team.
• New properties start from your defaults — check-in and checkout times, how guests get in, minimum nights, house rules — set under Settings → Defaults.

Before it can go live

If Kabora asks you to verify your identity, you can still set up the whole listing first: the first screen says so and has a Verify your identity button, which opens the two-minute check in a new tab. Your answers are kept, the listing waits as a draft, and it can go live, or be booked by its link, once you are verified.

A place can only be listed on Kabora once your business can take a guest's card. Guests pay you directly through Stripe, so connect it first under Settings → Payments and payouts. See "Setting up payments".

If that or anything else is missing — a nightly rate, enough photos, where the place is, a profile photo — the listing's status menu says so. It says what is missing and links to where you fix it, one thing at a time. Places that are already listed stay listed.
