Importing a Portfolio From Hospitable

Connecting Hospitable

Bring your Hospitable listings over without retyping or pasting anything. Go to Settings → Import. Generate a personal access token in Hospitable's API settings, and paste it into the Connect box.

Kabora checks that the token works, encrypts it and never displays it again, so keep your own copy in a password manager.

Read-Only Access

Kabora never writes anything back to Hospitable. Your listings, calendars and bookings there remain untouched. This protects the system you still depend on: trying Kabora cannot change it.

Importing Your Listings

Once you are connected, your Hospitable listings appear under the card. Every listing not already in Kabora is ticked. Untick any you want to leave behind, and press Import N listings. Each one arrives in Listings as a draft.

What Is Imported

The card has a See exactly what comes across button. It lists every field in plain language; read it before you connect. In summary:

• the name and the guest-facing name;
• the full address;
• bedrooms, beds, baths and maximum guests;
• the listing type and the amenities;
• the photos, full size, in your order, up to 30 a place.

Every place arrives as a draft, whatever its status on Hospitable. To be listed, it requires:

• at least five photos;
• a nightly price;
• a profile photo;
• payouts set up under Settings → Payments and payouts;
• your identity verified once, while Kabora checks identity.

Each listing's page states whether anything else is missing.

What Is Not Imported

• Prices: Hospitable's listings carry no nightly rates, cleaning fees or taxes. Setting prices is the main work after an import.
• Messages and reviews: These remain in Hospitable.

Importing Bookings

Once a listing is imported, Import bookings brings its stays from Hospitable onto your calendar. It covers a year back to a year ahead, with dates, guests and party size. Each stay appears under the site it was booked on. Kabora takes no fee on any of them.

Each stay is recorded at what the guest paid on the other site, as one line, such as "Paid on Airbnb, brought over from Hospitable". Its guest is never asked to pay anything on Kabora. Running the Import Again

Importing twice does not create two of everything. Kabora recognizes what it imported before and updates its details instead. Your own decisions on Kabora remain yours. An import never changes whether a place is listed, its prices or its photos.
