Bring a portfolio over from Hospitable

If you already run your properties through Hospitable, you can bring them over without retyping or pasting anything. Go to Settings → Import, generate a personal access token in Hospitable's API settings, and paste it into the Connect box.

Kabora checks the token works before saving it, encrypts it, and never shows it back — so keep your own copy in a password manager.

Reading only, always

Nothing is ever written back to Hospitable. Your listings, calendars and bookings there are untouched, and trying Kabora cannot change the system you still depend on.

Bringing them across

Once you are connected, your Hospitable listings appear under the card. Everything not already here is ticked; untick any you want to leave behind and press Import N listings. Each one lands in Listings as a draft.

What comes across

The card has a See exactly what comes across button listing every field in plain language, and it is worth reading before you connect. In short: the name and the guest-facing name, the full address, bedrooms and beds and baths and maximum guests, the property type, the amenities, and the photos — full size, in your order, up to 30 a place.

Every place arrives as a draft, whatever it is on Hospitable. A listing goes live when you list it: it needs at least five photos, a nightly price, a profile photo and, while Kabora checks identity, your identity verified once, and each listing's page says if anything else is missing.

What does not

• Prices. Hospitable's listings carry no nightly rates, cleaning fees or taxes. Setting prices is the main work after an import.
• Messages and reviews. Those stay where they are.

Your bookings

Once a listing is across, Import bookings brings its stays from Hospitable — a year back and a year ahead, with dates, guests and party size — onto your calendar under the site each was booked on. Running it again

Importing twice does not give you two of everything. Kabora recognises what it brought over before and brings its details up to date instead. What you decide here stays yours: an import never changes whether a place is listed, its prices, or its photos.
