Booking Rules, Rule-Sets, and Gap Nights

These settings are under a listing → Availability (the General and Booking rules tabs), and in the calendar's side panel.

Booking Rules

• Minimum and maximum nights: The shortest and longest stay a guest may book.
• Advance notice: How close to arrival a booking may be made.
• Preparation time: Nights blocked before and after every stay, for the turnover.
• Restricted check-in and Restricted checkout: The weekdays on which a stay may not start or end.

Kabora checks these rules at the moment of booking, on Kabora and on your own site, so a request that breaks one never reaches you.

Rule-Sets

A rule-set is a named bundle, such as Summer weekends or Ski season, holding a minimum and maximum stay, the weekdays, and a price or discounts.

Select nights on the calendar and choose the set, and every night in the range takes it. The same applies on the phone. Past assignments have their own read-only page, View past assignments, so you can still tell in October which rule a night carried in March.

Gap Nights

A minimum stay can leave unbookable nights between bookings. The calendar's Nights too short to book review lists them over the next 12 months. Each row offers Allow N-night, which opens that gap at the shorter minimum, with Undo. Nothing is opened without your action.
