Maintenance Tickets and Inventory

Maintenance Tickets

A ticket records something wrong at a place, with a title, the listing and a priority: Emergency, Normal or Low. Once open, it also shows who is handling it and what it cost. There are three ways to raise one:

  • New ticket: Raise one with + New ticket, on the web or in the Kabora app.
  • Guest report: A guest can report something in their thread. Make it a job in that message's menu raises a ticket with their words and photo.
  • From your crew: A cleaner can send a photo of something broken in the job's thread. You raise the ticket yourself, with + New ticket.

To close a ticket: Set Where it is to Done and Save; closed tickets stay under Closed.

Closing the Nights a Repair Needs

On a ticket's row, under Nights closed for this repair, enter the first and last night and press Close these nights. Every space at the place closes, shown on the calendar as Maintenance, named by the repair, and guests cannot book them.

A booked or already-closed night is refused, and named, so you can choose around it. Pressing again with other nights moves the closure rather than adding a second one.

When the work is done, press Open them again. A finished repair keeps that button on the closed list until you use it, so a repaired place never stays off sale unnoticed. The calendar's own Available leaves them closed and points you to the repair.

Inventory

Inventory counts what a place keeps, such as towels, coffee pods and light bulbs. Each item has a warning level, Warn at (Warn me at in the Kabora app). At or below it, the item is marked Low and listed under Needs restocking.

Record what was used under Record a change on the item (Record a movement in the app). Home's Overview warns when supplies run low.
