Task rules and teammate notifications

Under Operations, task rules turn checkouts into work: a rule like "cleaning after every checkout" mints the task the moment a booking exists — no cron to wait for, nothing to forget. Rules can carry a default assignee and a price, so tasks arrive already owned and already costed.

The board

Overview shows tasks by state — Unassigned, Overdue, Today, Upcoming, Past, Skipped — with search across task, property, teammate, and reservation code. Assign, mark Done, or Skip from the row. A priced task marked Done is owed to whoever did it, under Operations → Payments — see "Paying a cleaner for a task".

The job's thread

Giving a task to somebody opens a conversation on the job, on the Crew shelf of Messages — beside your guests' threads, never among them. The crew reads the job on their phone with its window (the hours between the checkout and the next arrival) and its checklist (the lines its rule carries; a line that wants a photo is ticked by posting one into the thread), presses On my way, Started or Done from the thread (Done with lines left asks whether to skip them), and hands in a receipt for what they bought, which lands on the job's cost. You answer in the same thread, on the web or in the Kabora app: move the job's window, answer Is it ready for the next guest? once it is done (No, send it back returns it with your note), rate it, and read its Cost. A crew member sees the thread in the app once their address is invited to your team as a Cleaner; until then the job reaches them by email. Instead of naming one person, a rule or the board's menu can offer a task to every cleaning member (or every member of another trade): it sits *Up for grabs* until somebody takes it from their phone.

Notifications

Notification rules email your crews when operations move: new reservations, alterations, cancellations, new or cancelled tasks, and reminders before check-ins and after checkouts. Each rule picks its teams — cleaning, maintenance, check-in, laundry, and more — and its message, written with the same shortcodes as guest messages, personalized per teammate. Every send can copy you.
