Metrics, Reports, and Exports

Metrics covers occupancy, revenue, reservations, messaging response times, review quality and taxes, over the date ranges you select. Turn widgets on or off and reorder them, so the overview shows the figures you monitor.

How a Month Is Counted

A stay's money counts whole in the month it is paid out to you — the day after the guest checks in — however many nights the stay has. A stay from 29 August to 4 September belongs to August. A one-night stay on 30 September belongs to October. Occupancy and nights sold still count by the night. A booking is counted once, in the month it arrives.

Exporting and Sending Reports

• Export: Prints the page to PDF, saves an image of it, or downloads reservations or taxes as CSV.
• Send: Emails the report as a CSV or a formatted PDF to you, your accountant or a co-owner, once, every month or every Monday.

An export, or a Send made once, covers the date range on screen, so what you send matches what you saw. Every Monday, a repeating Send covers the previous seven days; every month, the previous month.

Comparing Listings With Nearby Places

On Metrics → Performance, under By listing, Against nearby places compares each listing with nearby places over the same nights. It sets the listing's occupancy, nightly rate and share of stays that fell through beside those of the middle place.

The middle place is chosen among comparable listed places from other businesses within 25 miles. It needs at least eight such places; with fewer, it states how many it has. Each figure is the middle place's, so no single host's numbers can be read from it.
