Fees: what a guest pays besides the nights

Besides the nightly price, a place can charge four fees. Each is set on the listing's Pricing page, shows on the guest's bill as its own line, and is included when lodging tax and Kabora's fee are worked out.

The four fees

• Cleaning: once per stay. You can set a different cleaning fee for stays of two nights or fewer.
• Linens: once per stay.
• Extra guests: for each guest beyond the number your price includes.
• Pets: only when the guest brings pets and the place allows them.

How extra guests and pets are charged

For each of those two, you choose:

• Per stay: one amount, whatever the length or the number.
• Per night: the amount times the nights.
• Per guest (or per pet): the amount times how many.
• Per guest, per night (or per pet, per night): both.

What isn't a fee

A security deposit isn't added to the bill and carries no tax; only what you keep from a deposit Kabora ran, after a guest agrees to a damage request, carries Kabora's 2%. A weekly or monthly discount comes off the nights, never the fees.
