Guest Records: VIP, Blocked, and Merged Profiles

Opening a Guest's Page

Press a guest's name on a reservations row, in search, on Scheduled messages or on Reviews to open their page: every stay with you, the guest's reviews, and the marks. In a conversation, the name opens a profile pane instead.

Marks on a Guest Record

• Mark as VIP: A chip on their page and beside their conversation, so the team knows, and nothing else.
• Block from booking: Requires a reason, which the guest never sees. They cannot book with you on Kabora or your own site; existing stays are unaffected.
• Blocked by another host or business: When another host or business on Kabora has blocked someone who books with you, a note says so beside their name and on the booking alert, on the website and in the app. It reads "Blocked by 1 other host or business", without the reason or who it was. The booking stands unless you decide otherwise.
• Merge into this profile: When another record shares the guest's email, phone or name, This may be the same person offers to combine them. Undo separates them; every stay is kept.

When Contact Details Are Visible

A guest's email and phone appear only while one of their stays with you is booked, through the end of the checkout day in the place's own time zone. Otherwise, use Kabora messages. A guest you entered or imported, or with a stay you added yourself, always shows them.

When a guest changes the phone number on their Kabora profile, their record with you takes the new number. A changed email address does not carry over.

Stays From Calendar Links

A calendar link brings dates, not a guest, so nights another site booked have no guest record here. To contact that guest from Kabora, add the stay yourself.
