House Rules, Guest Safety, and Cameras

These settings are under a listing → Details → Rules and Details → Guest safety.

House Rules

The switches for pets, smoking, events and quiet hours appear as house rules on the listing page. When the children and infants switches are off, they appear under Safety as "Not suitable for children". The minimum age is kept but not shown to guests. Search filters on the number of pets you accept.

Keep it consistent with the switches: if pets are off, "small dogs welcome" contradicts them, and a guest believes the more permissive one. Kabora does not prevent you from saving it.

A guest agrees to the rules as they stood on the day of booking, and Kabora keeps that record. Their trip page, however, shows your current rules, so a change reaches guests already booked. Message them when it affects their stay.

Guest Safety

Select the alarms, the extinguisher and the first-aid kit under Amenities, then state where each one is under Guest safety. Add the dangers worth knowing, such as a pool with no gate or heights without rails, and what to expect, such as stairs or noise. Guests read this under Safety before booking.

Cameras

Kabora's rule: cameras are allowed outdoors only, and every one of them is declared.

You answer the camera question on the last step of Add a listing, and change it later in the Kabora app, under a listing → Guest safety → Security cameras. The website's editor has no camera field yet. There is deliberately nowhere to declare an indoor camera.

A guest reads the declaration before booking, including that there are none, and can report a listing whose cameras do not match it. A person at Kabora reads each report, and "There is a camera inside" is the first reason on the form.
