Publishing a listing: what has to be true

A listing is bookable on Kabora when it is Listed. The button beside the Kabora badge on the listing's overview says its status and, when it cannot go live yet, the one thing stopping it.

What has to be true

• A nightly rate.
• How guests get in.
• What kind of place it is.
• Where it is on the map.
• Whether pets are welcome (none is an answer).
• At least five photos.
• Your identity verified, while Kabora is checking hosts' identity.
• A profile photo, so guests see who is hosting.
• Your business can be paid — Stripe connected under Settings → Payments and payouts. Until it is, a listing can be complete and still not go live, because a guest could pay and the money would have nowhere to land.

The rule is checked in one place and answered the same way on every screen — the status button, the phone, the console — so you will not be told "listed" on one and "not yet" on another.

Unpublishing

Press the status button and choose Unpublish listing. It becomes Unlisted: out of search and off Google, still bookable by anyone with its link, and every booking stands. Move back to draft hides it completely, but not while a stay is still to come. Publish listing puts it back, subject to the same list.

What a status does not do

Unpublishing does not cancel anything, and publishing does not publish a change you made elsewhere — every editor page saves as you go.
