Publishing a Listing and Its Requirements

Listing Status

A listing is bookable on Kabora when it is Listed. When it cannot go live yet, open the status button beside the Kabora badge on its overview: Listed names the one requirement preventing it, with a link to resolve it.

Requirements for Publishing

A listing needs:

• A nightly rate.
• A description of how guests get in.
• What kind of place it is.
• Its location on the map.
• An answer on whether pets are welcome; none is an answer.
• At least five photos.
• One of Kabora's cancellation policies, on the listing or as your business's default.
• Your verified identity, while Kabora is checking hosts' identity. Use Verify your identity on the first screen of Add a listing.
• A profile photo, so guests see who is hosting.
• Stripe connected under Settings → Payments and payouts, with card payments and payouts both switched on.

Without payments and payouts, a complete listing still cannot go live. This protects the guest: a guest could pay, and the money would have nowhere to go.

Kabora checks these requirements in one place, so the status button, the phone and the console always give the same answer.

Unpublishing a Listing

Press the status button and select Unpublish listing. The listing becomes Unlisted: it leaves search and Google, but anyone with its link can still book it.

Move back to draft hides the listing completely, and is unavailable while a stay is upcoming or in progress. Publish listing restores it, subject to the same requirements.

Unpublishing cancels nothing; every existing booking stands. Publishing does not publish a change you made elsewhere, because every editor page is saved by its own Save button.
