Reply, edit, unsend, and react

On the website, hover any message and two buttons appear beside it: a menu (⋯) and an emoji. In the Kabora app, press and hold the message for the same tools.

The menu holds Reply, Copy, Star message, Pin to the top and Keep as a saved message; Edit and Unsend on your own recent messages; and Report this message on somebody else's.

Reply

Reply quotes the message you picked: a card with the writer's name and its first lines pins above the composer, and the sent message carries a compact quote of the original. Clicking that quote jumps the thread to the original message. If the original is later unsent, the quote greys to "Message unsent" rather than repeating what it said.

Edit and unsend

Your own messages can be edited for 15 minutes after sending, and unsent for 24 hours. Once editing has closed, the menu says so — "Editing expired 15 minutes after." — rather than simply dropping the row. Edits are disclosed: the bubble wears an "Edited" label from then on. Unsending blanks the message permanently and leaves a visible "unsent a message" line, so the other side is never left wondering about a hole in the thread. Unsend asks you to tap twice, because there is no undo.

Messages Kabora sent for you — confirmations, cancellation notices, scheduled sends — can never be edited or unsent by anyone. They are the record.

Reactions

The emoji button offers a quick set (❤️ 👍 🔥 😂 😮 😢 🙏 🎉) — the same eight on the website and in the app. One reaction per person per message: picking a different emoji replaces yours, tapping the same one takes it back. Reactions show on both sides with the reactor's name on hover.

Copy

Copy puts the message text on your clipboard, exactly as written.
