Who Can See a Conversation

The thread header shows the people: stacked faces and "— and 2 others". Click it for "In this conversation", the complete list of everyone with access.

How Access Is Determined

• Host side: Team members whose role can message guests see the conversation: Admins, Co-hosts, and custom roles granted the inbox. A member limited to specific listings sees only those listings' conversations.
• Guest side: The conversation belongs to the booker and anyone who has joined the trip. A companion who accepted can read and write in the thread, as described in "Trip companions".

The list is worked out from these rules each time it opens, never from a stored claim.

Read Receipts

Under your messages, "Seen by" names who has opened the thread since: which teammate, and when the guest did. The guest sees your name as host, not the teammates behind it. Read receipts appear only when both people have them on, under Account settings → Privacy and sharing.

Mute

Anyone can mute a conversation from its ⋯ menu, for themselves alone. Messages still arrive in the thread, but that conversation's emails to you stop. Unmute from the same menu at any time.
