Nightly rates, weekend rates, fees and the security deposit

Under a listing → Pricing. Everything a guest pays for a stay starts here.

• Nightly rate — the base. A weekend rate replaces it on Friday and Saturday nights.
• Extra guests — under Occupancy based, a charge for each guest above the number included.
• Fees — cleaning (with an optional one for stays of one or two nights), linens and pets. Each is its own line on the guest's price.
• Taxes — see "Lodging tax: how it works". Every booking freezes the rate it was charged under, so a later change does not reprice a stay already made.
• Security deposits — Kabora can hold it on the guest's card, or charge it and give it back, or you can collect it yourself and record it on the stay; the guest sees the record on theirs.

Dates and seasons

Rates for particular dates are set on the calendar: select nights and set a price, or use a rule-set. The weekend and seasonal prices show on the guest's price breakdown as the nights they fall on, not as a surcharge.

What the guest sees

The listing page shows *from* the lowest nightly rate on the dates in view; the price breakdown at checkout lists nights, each fee and the taxes, then the total. Kabora's own share is never a line on it — it comes out of your side. See "How you get paid".
