Guest experience
Reviews: leaving them, answering them, and when a guest's goes live
Automation → Reviews holds the rules that review your guests; a guest's review of you appears on your listing and in your inbox.
Reviewing a guest
A rule is a rating, a text and a delay after checkout; each checkout takes one at random, and the codes in the text — *[guest first name]*, *[guest full name]*, *[property name]* — are the same ones the message rules use. Pending reviews is the queue: edit one before it posts, skip one, or post it now. A stay booked on another site is reviewed there — its calendar link brings Kabora the dates, not the guest.
When a guest reviews you
You are told by email, and the email carries the review itself rather than a link to it. Reviews are shown only once both sides have written or the window has closed, so neither is written in reply to the other.
Answering in public
Under Automation → Reviews → Pending replies, write in the box under a review and press Post reply. One reply, shown under the review on the listing page from then on, and not editable afterwards. A reply is read by every future guest; a short thank-you or a plain correction ages best.
Stars
Every rating on Kabora is drawn in the same violet star, on the listing page, a guest's page, a person's pane in a conversation and your own reviews page.
