When a Payout Fails

Each stay's share is paid out from your connected account to your bank the day after the guest checks in.

Why a Payout Fails

A payout comes back when, for example, the bank account is closed, the account number has changed, or the bank refused it. The bell and an email tell you the first time one fails. Payouts that succeed are reported in one daily email listing what Stripe paid.

Correcting the Bank Account

Settings → Payments and payouts shows the failed payout and Stripe's reason. Correct the bank account there, in Stripe's screens, which open after you Confirm it is you.

Nothing is lost: the money waits in your Stripe balance, and Kabora retries every hour until the bank details are correct.

What Kabora Can See

Kabora sees that a payout came back, and Stripe's reason, so it can notify you. Nobody at Kabora can change your bank details or move your money, because your money never passes through Kabora.
