The currency your business trades in

A business trades in one currency, set by its first listing and shown under Settings → Preferences → Region and time. New listings start in it, and your totals are read in it. A listing can trade in another currency from its own Pricing page, until its first booking; Metrics converts it into your business's currency at the day's rate.

A guest browsing from elsewhere sees prices in their own currency through the picker in the footer — a conversion for reading, marked as such — and is charged in the listing's currency; their bank does the exchange. The receipt is in the stay's currency.
